The 2008 Trout and Salmon Tweed Angling Fair will be held adjacent to the world famous Junction Pool on the Tweed in Kelso's superb Springwood Park and Exhibition Centre in the Scottish Borders.
Amongst the major attractions during this two-day event will be fly-casting demonstrations by some of the world’s leading casters and instructors including Scott Mackenzie, Trout & Salmon contributor, Eoin Fairgrieve, world fly-casting champion, Hywel Morgan, World Speycasting record holder Gordon Armstrong as well as international representation by Klaus Frimor - Denmark and Glenda Powell-Ireland. The programme will also include demonstrations by top UK instructors and casters to present a first-class angling showcase.
The Tweed Angling Fair will host leading manufacturers and retailers selling a comprehensive range of the latest angling and fly-tying equipment. Also featured in the Angling Village will be a lecture theatre, and fly dresser's forum with demonstrations and talks by some of the UK's leading anglers and fly-tyers.
